All the early to late 1987 Verdes came with the "wine glass" style wheels. My car is an 1987 and had these wheels.

Sometime in late 1987 to 1988 they switched to "phone dial" style. The specs. of the wheels are identical.

Interestingly, again in late 1988 they changed to BWA wheels that look identical to the Speedline "phone dials."The BWA have a 30mm offset vs. 45mm. They widen the track over an inch and make a big improvement in the handling.

The Phonedial wheels were only on Verdes.

To Recap:

"Most" 1987 Verdes had the Wineglass wheels, along with all years of Platinums.

"Most" 1988 Verdes had the Speedline Phonedial wheels

"Most" 1989 Verdes had the BWA Phonedial wheels

* I say most, as with Alfa anything is possible and the year cutoffs are not absolute.
