Milano/75Turbodiesel radiator.

Just thought I'd let you all know the 75TD radiator is available in Italy. I just got mine in 4 days after ordering. The rad price is 120Euros + shipping to wherever. I remind those not familiar, that this is the largest factory rad available for the Alfa75 and it originally used twin cooling fans mounted on a single frame (these can probably be found in wrecking yards). The core is 54x42cm without the plastic end-tanks. This rad will most likely end all cooling problems these cars may have.

Thanks for the tip Jim !

Do you know if the rad installs easily on all other models of 75/Milano ?

It will fit right in. It is best to enlarge the sheet metal 'window' in front of the rad, to take full advantage of the width (expose it to airflow). This will take you about 30 minutes with a hacksaw and a file. You will also need a longer top hose than the one in the 3liter engine (you can cut the std one and use a length of pipe with 2 clamps)
You should only need this rad in the 3liter though. Other models should be fine without it, if their cooling system is in perfect order.

Would you recommend it for a 24v 3L?

Bernard,
I would only bother if you have issues with running hot, e.g. on the track. Even just replacing your 20 year old radiator with an OEM can make a very big improvement as the flow through a 20 year old radiator is typically strongly reduced. For most street driving it is probably ok, but on the track, not so... BTW, if your car was originally a 2.5 V6 with original radiator, it may even be a smaller radiator than a stock 3 liter radiator.
