Help! Power Steering Hose!

So it wasnt an oil leak, my power steering hose went to hell. Anyway, the one on IAP fits only 88-89 manual 2.5, i have an 87 manual 2.5, would that work? I mean all Milanos with 2.5 manual are virtually the same?

Anywhere else to get this part?

The big difference between those years was the location of the power steering hose reservoir. Is yours up near the firewall, on the driver's side, aft of the windshield washer bottle?

Or is it down towards the front, hanging off two bolts over the top of the radiator?

If you have the latter (the bottle is a big white one, or greasy light yello by this time) then you can buy the 88-89 hoses.

Truth to be told, it's better if you just had a shop custom make one for you. Buy a better quality hose and have them put in better quality hose ends. The Alfa ones are OK but WILL leak over time. I like cleaner engine bays than dirty/oily ones

but that's just me...

The Alfa PS hoses are kinda expensive. I have some used ones if you need a cheaper more temporary fix.

thanks for the offer. dropped 30 bucks on one from APE today. i gotta start browsing these forums during my web design class so i don;t miss things like this before i put money down
