Get yourself a 1 5/8" or 41 mm 3/4" drive socket and 3/4" to 1/2" adapter for crank pulley to rotate engine clockwise and pull sparkplugs BEFORE rotating engine so compression does not mess you up feeling stoppage that is hopefuly not valves hitting pistons.

Pushing in 5th gear with plugs in a shade tree MECH way to move engine. I know shop manual says to do it that way BUT your stopping action could be just compression working against you. If valve was hitting you shouldn't be able to move again without correcting timing so you maybe still golden.

As for your earlier question about why line up with P on crank pulley that is top dead center mark (TDC) so number one piston at top. Other mark F is before top dead center (BTDC) mark for ignition timing -- 2 degrees on 2.5L and 7 degrees on 3.0L engines.

Well she started ran for 10 seconds rough though pushed the gas to her a little better. I belive timing is off and possibly the wires but hey wasn't too bad at least there's a pulse. I just have to get her purring!! Anyway once I get her close to where she should be I'll test compression etc..

Anyway thanks for all the posts I will try to smooth her out.

Special thanks to Steve and Murray/Jungle/Alralfa and all those who helped She's not dead yet.

Hey Steve just noticed your part listings great want to get her running steady then I will call for parts.

Anyway last update: My fuel injectors sprang a leak will have to get it to a mechanic.....
