I am not longer making my V6 supercharger kit, but I do have a lot of pieces left over, pulleys, injectors, etc. My machinist is still interested in making the kits so I still have access to everything, I just don't have the time to assemble the kits.

What all that means is, if you want a new supercharger kit, you can buy it at a steep discount, but will have to drill the five holes involved in the forward mount, and the three for the rear mount yourself. Drilling these five holes isn't trivial, but the resulting price drop is massive. All other holes are pre-drilled by the water jet.

The current cost for all discharge, intake ports, spacers, and all brackets is $800, that's with the newer aluminum discharge port which is really nice. Last I checked you could buy the MP62 from Magnuson for about $1200 (contact me before you buy it, because there are a lot of variables when ordering them, nose drive length, etc.). I will let my remaining stock of crank pulleys go for $150 each, add in a supercharger pulley, and belt and we are under $2300.

Obviously you will still need other things, silicone couplers, a pipe to connect the supercharger to the intake plenum (pictured but not included), bigger injectors (unless it's a really low boost 2.5)

Just to be clear, I am not selling this as a kit, I just don't have the time. You will have to buy the supercharger from Magnuson, the brackets, spacers and ports from my machinist, the belt locally, etc.

Greg

P.S. this picture is actually one generation old. It's not the new aluminum kit. I have both GTV6 and Milano crank pulleys left.

~$2500 for a supercharger kit on an Alfa?
Well, yes, but there are other expenses. It's a good idea to plan on at least another $500-$1000 for pipes, couplers, clamps, etc. to connect the discharge port to the intake plenum, and the supercharger's intake into the air filter. Then if you want to add an intercooler, water injection, aftermarket fuel injection, bigger injectors etc. etc. it all starts to add up pretty fast.

What's the expected hp output range?
As with all other forced induction mods, it really depends on how much boost you want, and what other supporting mods you want. These are known results, not expeted. With L-Jetronic, no intercooler and a dead stock 2.5 it's pretty easy to get about 220hp. A 2.5 with an intercooler and supporting fuel can have about 280hp. The 3.0 can have quite bit more, one customer got about 380hp before the transaxle blew up, but that's an extreem case, he basically built a hot 3.0, head work, headers, etc. then put the supercharger on it.[/QUOTE]

How much does the entire kit weigh?
The supercharger weighs 27 pounds, in the box as shipped. The brackets, ports, etc. are probably well under 10 pounds, but I never weighed them. The entire assembly with everything under the hood and running is probably well under 50 pounds.
