Milano headlights

Has anyone rewired the headlights so that they go off with the ignition off like the 164? We drive both 164's and the Milano with headlights on, and we would rather the headlights go off in the Milano as like the other cars. Truth be told, I keep forgetting to shut them off when I drive the Milano instead of the 164's.

I've traced the wiring diagrams for the headlights, and have seen where rewiring could be done, but I hate to reinvent the wheel if someone has found a simple way.

My car has had a rather irritating little device wired into it that goes "mee moo mee moo mee moo" from somewhere under the dash if the lights and the interior lights are on at the same time. So if you open the door with the lights on...

Aaaaargghhhh!

Mrs Dawg has a Fiat Punto so she was always leaving my lights on! Not any more.

My 75 has the headlights rewired this way.
But as it has been done by PO, I haven't really looked into it.

All I can say - it can be done.
