Faesibility of Alfas Return To Road Rally

Does anybody think it would be eventually feasible in the next 5-8 years for Alfa to return to road rally?

I was just watching this clip on youtube and thinking how cool it would be, what with their AWD system apparently being pretty good, to start a rally team based on a new alfa platform.

After looking at those 75 rally shots a few days ago, it got me thinking.

Now if anyone has 50 mil to invest, let me know.

I doubt it somehow because Fiat are already contesting the junior series of the WRC with the Punto. Rallying has traditionally been a Fiat and Lancia activity (count those World Championships!) and with Ferrari locking down the F1 it seems more likely that Alfa will only be allowed out to play in Touring Car racing.

Yeah, isn't Ken Block a brilliant rally driver. That's why he challenges Sebastien Loeb for the WRC title every year.

And 50 mil? You're kidding aren't you? That wouldn't even cover the catering for a proper WRC team, you'd run through your budget before a single wheel had turned!
