It doesn't lock if you just spin the tires, so you can't check it like that. They will rotate to opposite directions just like with an open differential.

Well, I went back for some more parts. Looks like someone else stripped the car pretty good before I could get back. Maybe I should keep things more on the down low till I get done next time. Someone stripped all the door panels and took the tranny and complete rear suspension along with the plenum and throttle body. I took the hood some misceaneous and the trim that runs all the way around the car. I noticed that car had a storage unit at the back window shelf that I havent noticed on mine.I was gonna take the wheels since someone gave me the key fr the locks, but the two rear were already gone. Now i need to paint this hood black, since its a nice silver and my car is red.

Ray,
I took the rear red strip (mine was missing an end cap) and I also took the auxiliary air regulator and the sensors from the thermostat housing that were on the trunk next to a nice looking radiator.

It seems that the car had a lot of good parts were still on it, you mentioned that you took the rear view mirror switches, did you end removing the window regulators as well?
Gilles

Rey, since you are going back for the rear window regulators you may want to remove the front ones as well, since you never know how long they will keep working
