This Jes?

As for the designs, I don't like the Junior nose at all. It completely goes against the rest of the 75's design. It's all about hard, straight angular lines. Then you have this curvy round front end. It just doesn't work in the scheme of things. The above 75/SZ at least retains the same lines as the SZ was also very angular.

Thanks for your vote HMA! I'm looking to shock the Milano design - call it another generation, 3-4 generations in the future!! Will explain more later.

That came as no surprise to me. I actually called this from the get-go and you were on that list!! Vote confirmed!

I like the nose, it's an interesting idea. That said, the unloved bulldog nose IS part of what makes it a Milano. Perhaps doing more the evoke, say, an SZ would be in order?

Jury's still out on 4d v. 2d for me. The longer I look at #3 in white, the more I like it, but I'd still want to see some 4d treatments. You know, since we're all paying for it and everything .
Yeah, the nose doesn't kick hard enough for me too. When I suggested to Johnny about modding the accordions, I had enough!!

I looked at the SZ but I felt it was inline with the present design too much and not pushing the boundaries enough.

I'll play around with some 4 door models and see how they compare since I've just received your deposit today!! Sh0rt and I will get whatever built in no time!!!

Ha!! See, this is what I like - creative input!! It would be the Milano-Hauler straight outta Hades!! Nice Ed!

Some may argue that there is already a coupe version of the Milano (Hmm...) so I'm partial to the keeping the 4 doors. However, for those who followed the original Deamon, this transformation should be equally interesting.

Yes Rags!! Jump in Bro! This will be a very creative thread and I'm excited about all the replys and interest and opinions in design. Save that other Verde of yours for a bit. It may have a few tweaks before long!!

Vote noted on a 4 door. Cool. I'll work on something soon. Thanks for your input.

I love your spider. I think its an amazing work of art. I never really thought much of the Alfa spider design till I saw yours. Not trying to offend, but everyone has thier own personal tastes. When i was in high school in 78', my mom brought home an Alfa and a Fiat spider from her boss. He was selling them and I prefered the Fiat at the time so she bought it.
Cant wait to see what you come up with next.
Ok so 4 doors are hitting strong here amongst the Milano crowd!! But just as that big-*** Russian, Drago said in Rocky, "I must break you!"...

Don't worry about offending me. I'm way above all that mess. I just do me and work with others that can "see" what I'm after or respect my focus.

The DEMON project is far from finished and from what you've seen there and liked (even though not even liking Spider prior) is quite the compliment. Thanks.

putting a curvy front looks very odd. it looks great on a curvy car. but looks way out of place on this car. Any part that you can not put a ruler to will look out of place on a Milano.

Not so fast. Who said I was done? I haven't even started. I stated in the very first post that I do realize that the Milano is a VERY angular car. I'm testing myself to come up with something else that "fits" in-line and is more angular. But more updated. If you've ever seen all the drafts i do within the DEMON thread, I always beat the crap outta them with help from others till it's nailed.

The only time I'll still fail by the rest, is when they absolutely refuse to see and and accept potential and progression. Thus only standing by what the factory came up with. That's fine. But not good enough for me. Last time I checked, I was not present in that boardroom and I cannot drive what others have.

What I'm thinking is, there's bound to be a middle ground. Something less... resigned... than the Milano's original front end, and something more accessible than the SZ's. Since I'm hopeless at photoshop, I'll just have to *say* what makes me itch is a narrower, glassed-in Zagato Jr nose, with double square lights. I think it's interesting Streetfame is consistently upending the downturned Milano nose in his drafts. I think he's definitely onto something. If I had a place to put it and the $ to realize it, I'd be taking some serious notes right now.
That finger comment is jokes, Bro!!

There is a middle ground and I intend to find it. As I said, the draft is not done - not by a long shot. The SZ is not an option. Why? Cause it's been done. time to go past it. Way past!!

Purpose.

I just want to be clear that I'm NOT building this design. This is just a design thread.

Ahh... I haven't lost it completely Or, are you just trying to make feel less, hmm, dement... (as in "deprived of mind")

Article looks Swedish, but the brothers' name is Finnish. Too small print to read on screen.

It has SOME yellow?

Unfortunately that's the full size I have. Maybe some digging may uncover higher quality copies?

I don't recall ever stating that it was a final design. I simply stated that in my opinion, that exact image doesn't work. I look forward to future redesigns that match more appropriately. There's no need to get so defensive about it. I'm not complaining that the image of the white car is actually one of my own photos that I took 18 months ago

I think it's interesting how they distorted the rear so much and yet kept the door handle. Looks to be nearly horizontal! The front is still too much IMO, but I like the rear wing they used. Looks like they also got rid of the "kick up" in the back.

I wonder how flushing (I think that's what it's called) the glass would modernize the look?

I would go for the two door if you could make it look better than the Ghibli II. That's what in my mind a two door angular Milano concept would be. I'm not digging the cut and paste front ends. I like the Milano face.

I always thought it would be cool to come up with projector lamps on a Milano with a Ghibli like round projector and square lens.

Please dump the dubs in the bin!

The coolest part of doing a custom Milano coupe would be that almost no one would no the car was custom at all!!
