Milano outside mirror removal

I need to remove the outside mirrors on an '87 Verde. It looks like I just remove the plastic triangular cover on the inside of the door, but does that just pop off?
Thanks,
Don

Yes that's right, however, I think you'll have to remove the door card to get the small triangular trim off. I can't remember exactly. The mirror is held on with 2 M6 philips headed screws.

You shouldn't need to remove the door trim, it can just be a little snug. Be careful though as the clip that holds the cover in place can snap easily if you apply force the wrong way. Be gentle and take your time, then as above, it's just a couple of bolts holding the mirror on. If they're power mirrors, don't forget to disconnect the wiring.

ROCK ON
