just bought my 1st alfa 88 verde red
well i went down and paid for the car today. didnt bring it home though, i left it at my mechanics to see if he could charge up the a c. the car also leaks power steering fluid, and the front torsion bars were cranked up 1 notch because the new tires rubbed in front? they are 195 65 15,s, are they the proper size? they look big on the car.it has a big plastic case in the back that he tells me is some kind of option. cant wait to get it home and start using it.

Well, you've been around long enough to know, WE WANT PICTURES. And the excuse "All Verde Red Alfa's look the same" won't cut it here.

well all red cars look the same, right? lol i just talked to my buddy at his shop where i left the car last night. he said the high pressure side on the a c and the power steering were leaking. luckily he has one alfa parts car and its a milano. he pulled the hoses off that car, now mine is fine. i live alone so i have no way off picking it up. my son is gonna pick it up with his girlfriend tonite and bring it home. then ill get ur pics, and you can rip it up and tell me what you would do first. personally, i dont like the front bumper, its to busy. id like to see a euro one, i would imagine its a lot more pleasing to look at. secondly i would lower the front a little, it looks like a 4x4. 3rd, its got 4 brand new tires , but i think they are to big. pics to come soon. now if i could only sell this little honda.

Looks to be in excellent shape. However, not knowing a whole lot about Milano's, I might have missed something.

looks very good to me. were the seats redone?
but it looks like you need to vacuum
and a perfect steering wheel wow...
Is the cloverleaf on the cigarette lighter orange?
I thought it was green. but mine got lost so long ago I can't remember.
I stuck in a silver one from a non-verde.
was is normal to have the orange blinkers? or was that a year thing?
mine is all red.
And someone stole the green cloverleaf on mine too...

BTW get some of the Turtle wax ICE synthetic liquid polish. it seems to make the plastic like new. great for the dash and buttons. and black part under the windshield where the wipers come out. seems to work well on the tail lamps too. and is a good wax for the paint.

the seats werent redone, they do show some wear. it looks like i have 2 passenger seats in the front. the controls on the drivers seat seem to be on the wrong side. yes the car is filthy, i havent done a thing to it yet. ive been working on my honda so i can sell it. the cloverleak on the lighter is orange. it matches the rest of the trim. the blinker stalk is all black, but theres one in the glove box with orange trim on it. the green clover leaf isnt stolen , its in the trunk with a bunch of stuff that i need to go thru. theres a big plastic box in there that says milan, i think. theres also a door panel and some other junk on the back seat.
the oil pressure gage shows almost no pressure, and the tach dosent work. ive been told most of these things dont work in most of these cars. she does sound sweet going down the road though.

Driver's seat looks non-stock - maybe out of a VW... The tail lights are also not stock. AFAIK all verde's came with some form of red (and no orange) on tail lights.

the stock tail lights are in the trunk, one is broken. that is why the po changed them. the front seats match the back?

it is common to swap the drivers for the passenger to even out the wear. but other then the heater in the seat I think they are the same. The bar to move the seat forward and back runs across the whole front of the seat. And there are knobs on both sides to recline the back
