Hi,
Nice car! Seen it on Alfapower.
Sorry for the detraction, but as Alfa V6 and V8 interested, your other IMSA no.2 V6 car is more interesting for me! As I can see you bought it already built from Holland. Wonder who built that engine? Care to tell something about that car also?

Very special to rebuild the single belt camdrive to double belt cam drive, like on the Ferraries. Suppose its necessary for high revs.
This engine is in the same class as the Ellegi Motori Alfa engines for sports prototypes 3L/400Hp, so I wondered if it was made by them. Did not know that the Dutch could make engines at this level!

Does this car have some sort of crankshaft girdle or brace? How do you make the whole crankshaft and piston assembly be able to go to 10K RPM?
I'm starting to wonder if the project to build this 3.0 is cheaper or more expensive then the 2.5 V6 Ti Twinspark 24V DTM engine in another 75

Mende,
The car came with broken engine!
Is the engine repaired so it can be seen on track this summer? I live not so far away, so possibly it can bee seen this summer?
Possibly it could class in here in a sportscar class. The worst cars there are 600+Hp Corvettes and Porsches so plenty of classes to choose from...in August.
racecarsdirect.com (Race Cars For Sale) SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!! Alfa Romeo 75 IMSA
I have a couple of photos maybe of the same engine?

Yes this is the engine from that car.
I will open a new thread once I'm ready to start up repairing this engine.
