How do I recognize my Milano?

Hi y'all! Greetings from the Pampas. I've recently bought one of the very few Milanos in the country, and would like to know the following. At first sight, how do I know if my Milano is a Verde, Gold or Platinum? It fits a 2.5 engine. I know quite a bit more on the Euro market 75's, but I'm short on the American

Thnks a lot!!

If you still have the original cloverleaf emblem on the boot lid, If it is gold in color it is a Gold, silver it is a Platinum, and green it is a Verde. Only the Verde had a 3.0 liter as far as I know. There were also a limited (I think) number of Silver editions and with those the emblem will be hard to differentiate between the Plat and Silver. I have never seen a silver but I know the Platinum had leather trimmed seats and I think the Silver was a more basic model with cloth seats.(I am not 100% sure about the Silver's trim level.) Hope that helps. You might also be able to tell by the VIN number. There is a Milano registry on the web. I'll have to look up the address. There are plenty of posts about the options and different features each possess, so once you find what kind you have you can come back and look up more details.

Almost forgot to mention: up load some pictures. We like to see the pictures!

Thnx a lot Larry! I'll check both the car's VIN and diff'rent post on the BB.
Obviously, cloverleaf's gone. As for pics, have already several, but from the moment I picked it up. Does not look like as it should be... It will be, I promise!

BTW, my best to the lone star state! Been there, done that.

Cheers,

Sergio "Alex" S.

3 Liter engine - Verde
2.5 Liter engine + leather seats and ABS brakes - platinum
2.5 liter engine + cloth seats and alloy wheels - gold
2.5 liter with steel wheels - silver.
There are other features that a Google search should give you.

I have a AR Milano Gold cloverleaf badge that I was about to put up on Ebay. Brand-new in the original AR package. Well, if you call printed plastic "packaging." Any interest?

I have a silver or platinum badge NIP also. Beats me which one it is - it's silver-colored!

Thanks,

Hattie

I DO somewhere Kevin. They might be in Alabama and I'm in TX right now. Let me check in March when I get back there.

Alex, anything to help another Milanisto. As I recall, there was a trick to the pictures. Email or PM "kredden" either here or from the Registry site.

Wow! I might be interested in the Gold badge. How much would you want for it? Would you send it over to Buenos Aires? Paypal would be allright for you?

Let me know!

Best

Good deal. I sent you a PM. If anyone else wants a Silver (or Platinum) badge, let me know. Thanks, Hattie

The trick is that you have to send the pics to me to have them put up on the Registry as I've not yet implemented a secure way to upload pics to ensure someone doesn't try to upload some malicious code.
