Sounds like you were flying a 526 model. In-line 6 with the overhead cam. Mine was a Zlin 50, which I just sold for not nearly what it was worth. Mine was single seat with titanium wing-spar and 260HP Lycoming.

Nice Zlin. I took my first ride in one last month. A friend of mine has tried to take me up since I started flying 5 years ago. We finally got our schedules worked out. That ride was crazy. I love that Zlin made there planes so simple and yet complex. The duel fuel pickups and inerted overhead cam is wild.
