Hello there, the colour is called "Cabernet Red" and it was a stock colour on Spider Veloces only I think from '84 - '86. It's a nice red and a little different from the regular fare. The steering wheel is actually a stock Spider steering wheel from the earlier models (pre '86). It went on fine except for I can't figure out how to get the horn to work! You can sometimes come accross them on this site or through EBay. Mine was a little rough so had to strip it down, fill a crack and re varnish it. Took some time but I like the look a lot better than the plastic wheel. I haven't actually done the carpet yet, I have the new one but hopefully installing it this month. The new carpet is tan one piece moulded which I got off of a guy on this blog. The old one is badly faded and in need of replacement. I know the tan ones are hard to come by now, the only one piece sets seem to be black only now. I'll be replacing my top this month as well with a cloth top to replace the vinyl which it has now. Then leather seats! It never ends but should look nice when I finish! Feel free to ask any questions, they're a great car, lots of fun
Cheers

I got very interested in your car as I had just bought one like it but it has not yet arrived from Massachusettes. Is this color considered the burgundy? How did you choose between Nardi and Momo? I am thinking one of the first things to do is change out the steering wheel and shift nob since the brown tones I think would look better in the car-- but how does it look and how did the carpet turn out? Why did you change the carpet and can you share where you got it? Seemed you did not like the original OEM carpet? Thanks! Annemarie
