My 'Fetta doesn't cause me any discomfort like my '87 Volvo did. I have to disagree with pedal placement too. In my Datsuns it is a real stretch to heel-toe the downshift, but with the 'Fetta, I can just roll my right foot for the blip. Sure, sometimes I hit the accel unintentionally sometimes, but I can live with that.
RYP: I'm a fan of the bumperless look as well. I don't have much of a choice, because the only additional parts that came with the car were misc. gaskets and a set of 13" RONALs. I'm running 14s on it now.

hey enri...
this is a good topic...
if i spend a weekend with the alfetta gtv by monday i have got a stiff neck...the pedals arent too bad (there is a good left footrest...the new fiat ritmo doesnt even have one and its a tight squeeze to get your boot past the clutch pedal and the centre console...italians!)
i must say my right foot is at 45 deg so i can get a reach for the clutch...the accelerator must be a touch too far forward...
lately my car has been wearing me out because it is too loud...so today i got a muffler guy to exchange the rear muffler for a bigger one i had laying around with a single baffle towards the rear...it has made a difference...i can still hear the sporty note from inside but it is not a drone, too loud or boomy...
the list just goes on and on...
did i mention i have to get the clutch flexible hose changed...the rear antiroll bar link bushes...the rear giubo... etc. etc.

cia, Alfa's cause me to have chiropratctic problems with the far reaching gearshift, heavy steering and tight offset pedals and seating position, low seat and roof clearence entry etc ect... with a Sud i have to actually operate the pedals withe the side of my feet because they are so small and close together
how about you?
i might post this on the forum for opinions, what do you reckon?
