    Hi Glenn:

Johnny Boy Duncan was over at my house a few days ago and making noise about flying out to California for the Convention. John is the current guy in the Alfa Club responsible for Marketing for the Alfa Owner, so it seems he has an obligation to be there. George Schweikle and Dee are going too. Cross Country Motor Home trip. Several of the guys from Louisville are going. They have purchased a car out there, Brian Shorey has picked it up, and they are all going to race it together. iIunderstand, they are going to dump the car on Brian after the convention. I offered to go out and pick it up and drive it back to Kentucky if they bought me the airfare and the gas to get back. They didn't like that idea.

Hey there Heavy. Matt here. My newly purchased 83 gtv6 came to me without anyheater core housing. No core, valve fan or housing. Might you have any spares that you could part with for me here in California? I would imagine that above mentioned items are all inside whatever "heater box" was removed. Cheers! albacore

Hi Heavy Metal Alfa, You are listed as a moderator for the 1900,2000 and 2600 forum. Would it be possible to make the following post a sticky, preferably at the bottom of the page (where is will be out of the way but visible)? Best regards, Mark

    HI Heavy,

I was wondering if you could give me an opinion. What do you think the value of a 2 owner 1983 Alfa GTV-6 would be? It has 123,000 miles and has been meticulously maintained. Everything works including the A/C. The only thing it needs now are the spark plug rings to prevent oil from leaking into the plugs. It's lowered to Euro height, has yellow konis, performance springs and Euro Headers. It also comes with 17" wheels from serpent auto. I'm also trying to package a 3.0 litre parts car that I never got around to doing the transplant on. It's been repainted and looks new. The driver and passenger leather stitching is starting to split. I'm thinking 10-12k...is that too much? I have pictures if you want to see. I'm selling it because I'm moving north and don't want to kill one of the best GTV6s I've seen in awhile. Any opinion would be appreciated since you seem to be one of the most knowledgeable GTV6 experts out there. Thanks in advance. Cheers!-Danny

Hi Glenn. Its Frank down here in Cape Elizabeth. Several potential buyers
are waiting for the car to be transportable. I have no commitment yet but once I ask for a non-refundable deposit the car will be committed.
Just giving you some advance notice as I promised. You're the only one to have seen what I have in my garage. Funnily you never got to see the windshield in my basement finished area.
I reiterated several times to the body guy about the importance of keeping all the parts and he has not led me to believe that any have been lost or discarded.

    Frank
