OK - righty or lefty rotation to compress or is it like the GTV6 rear calipers where it depends?!?

I use C-clamp and curved vise grips or water pumps to compress and rotate rear piston.

Also spray under rubber boot in outer piston groove so boot does not twist.

Steve - doing research indicates the need for a "rewind tool" for the rear calipers use for EMR brake in order to replace pads?!? Guidance on how to finesse this one?

Will get under the car this week. Will advise. THX Ive decided to change out all pads at the same time. Need to research winding back the pistons in these calipers. CIAO

So is it a clogged bleeder or hose?

Steve - guidance please. Upon flush discovered that no fluid flow thru right rear... SO how to sort plug? Thought is to remove the bleed nipple to see if theres overflow around nipple threads indicating clogged nipple...otherwise its a clogged line and much more time to sort...

    Jason,

I checked to spare strut assy I have in shed. Looks like R/F lower coils lay like your first pix and L/F coils lay like your second one.

What do you think of this? Old springs back in. Front R- 16" from center cap to fender lip, L- 15.5"

Now before I look like a complete moron here, I have done springs 100 times on these cars and am pretty sure I installed it properly. Yet look at these pics. Notice that one second coil sits on the rear of the first coil (this is the higher side). Weird?

    High side:

Side that seems normal at 15.5"

I may pull the spring and swap the direction and see what that does or install new ones. Let me know what you think? Thanks and hope all is well.
