Yes trinary switch plunger has to push schrader valve core. Has to be a thin o-ring to prevent that from happening. Think new it was a flat seal in it.

High temperature, never thought about that, good point.
I only asked because somebody in a youtube video said you should use teflon tape on your AC gauge fittings to make sure they don't leak.
BTW, I'm curious about this, but with that o-ring installed in the trinary switch, the AC blew warm air (about OAT/80s), the receiver drier got really hot to the touch, and the POA valve was warm/never got cool or sweated moisture.
Could that have been a function of that schraeder valve on the receiver drier not being depressed by the trinary switch, maybe simulating a trinary switch failure with that thick o-ring (the AC had worked before I Installed the o-ring)?

Hi Steve, I am wondering if you have a write up for installing a manual fan switch for the 12v motor. I have your simplified troubleshooting guide, but would like to wire up a manual switch for an extra fail-safe.

    Hello Steve,

I'm looking for a motor mount, it's for a 2.0 V6 Turbo from 1996. It's the front mount at the timingbelt side.

    Do you have 1 ?

    Hey Steve,
My name's Zach, a student at Christopher Newport University (not too far from you, actually). I have a 92 164L, and when driving home from work this morning the clutch completely went. The assembly somehow fell apart, so there's no spring action in the pedal. When I finally was able to clear the road (thanks to the assistance of a cop), I found a few parts from the clutch pedal assembly on the floor mat. Alfa Clutch pedal - Imgur I found 10, 13, 2, and 3 on the floor upon my inspection, and have no idea what happened to the rest/what happened to the clutch in general. If you could offer any advice or help me in any way, I would be most appreciative! I'm a new Alfa owner and I love this car, and I absolutely don't want to give up on it!
    Thanks!
    Zach

hello steve, im andres from argentina, i ve posted a thread some days ago about my 64 ts 93 not getting to top speed, do you think could be the phase variator? is there a way to test it? (the engine revs up to cut off in the first three gears,to 6k rpm in 4th and dead stops at 5k rpm in 5th gear and 180kph)another solution that i have in mind, are the injectors. do you think that perhaps worn or very dirty injectors could be the problem?, this car drove around very long time with a busted thermostat, and the fuel is not very good around here.
    kind regards
