I'm in Charlottesville

I'm new to this forum -- I just recently got an Alfa after being away from them for awhile. And I'm in Charlottesville.

I used to be a mechanic who specialized in Alfas here, but I have not made my living with Alfas sinc the early nineties. Unfortunately, I don't know of anyone who is a full-time mechanic here who really knows Alfas. There are a couple of guys who work on them on the side.

I could probably give you advice, but I'm not in the business of fixing cars anymore.

A friend of mine with a mid-eighties Spider is asking the same question, and so if anyone has a good recommendation -- say, in the Richmond area, he would be grateful.

John

Greetings. New to the forum, can't believe it! I've owned my '88 Spider Graduate since 1994.

I too am looking for a reliable mechanic in our near Charlottesville, and wonder if anyone has found one? Right now I need a clutch replacement and don't have the time to repair myself.

Thanks in advance.
