Rear "Seat" back removal '61 SS

I'm redoing the upholstery on my '61 SS and have to remove the rear "seat"/shelf back. The upright cushion before the rear shelf. Does anyone know how to remove it easily? I thought someone might have done this and could save me a bit of time and share their wisdom. Thanks.

After removing the screws, the rear panel lifts up. There are sheetmetal clips at the bottom edge of the panel that fit onto the 3 tabs in the pic.
