Dear TUBUT,

Thank you for your interest in our job.

Just to explain I start with a description of our logo.

Pictures will follow soon, I only like to describe new door hinges that allow a door opening close to 80° instead of the poor angle of the originals ones.

Felice

The camunian roses are 10.000 years old rock carvings in Val Camonica, they are interpreted as solar symbols.

Nowadays symbol of the Lombardy region, the camunian rose is the centre of our logo; she symbolizes how deeply our company have roots in Lombardy and her shape give the idea of a wheel spinning very fast; she also looks a clover, typical symbol of good luck.

Red spots: part of some camunian roses, they helps to increase the similitude with a spinning wheel.

Six stars: represents six countries of the Rome Treaty, establishing the European community.

Figure of eight knot: represent the respect of some traditions.

I like the idea, to do a Street legal TZ-2, without being obliged to use a original Chassisnumber, to bring it on the street.
Hope to see soon some more Pics of the Car and get some more information. Is there a chance, for tall drivers, to get into the Car?
If I could get it Street legal, I would be very interested.
Regards
Jörg

Thank you Jörg for your interest, yes, we have an option "tall driver", also because I need it!

This option foresee the advancement of the pedal box, a lower seat well and a roof side bump (like the F. GTO driven by Gurney).

I think it's totally unfair to criticize this project based on prototype fit and finish issues.

Replicate

I agree, it is unfair to criticize at this point. The TZ2 is the perfect car for those who find it hard to justify or own a replica. There were not enough made to make them obtainable. They were fiberglass which makes plastic replicas more authentic (unlike most cobras or speedsters -- 904 being the exception). IMHO the Lotus 7 (which was a sports car for the masses), the 904 (unobtainable and fiberglass) and the TZ2 (unobtainable and fiberglass) are the three cars most deserved of being replicated -- for different reasons. My hat is off to them.

BTW, you can still build a brand new Lotus Elan 26R from parts from Tony Thompson.
