Serial number of the museum car is 1369-003, engine number - 5C.

The second body, 1369-001 is on the left side of the picture, behind Scarabeo Spider

I am sorry but i think there is some of the information in this tread. Witch according to my knowledge I incorrect.
To my knowledge the 2 first spider design was done internal in Alfa Romeo . The 2 coupes was done by OSI to the design of Sergio Sartorelli.
Sanesi did a test drive om some part of the Mille Miglia route. There he was faster than the winning OSCA but also faster than the Porsche 550.
He said the it was a disappointment that I didn’t get another chance. But it was what there was to be seen back in the 50ties. Nothing was probably developed.
I have seen somewhere that there was only 3 chassis of the H tubes made, before it was turned over to Autodelta.
I have had, and still have problems to understand that number. And with the picture of the first spider in the basement. There must have been at least 4 I think.
Does anybody have some knowledge of the number of chassis build, before it was handed over to Autodelta.

Hm... What is the source of the information? According to all info I have, including Archivio Storico, the info is correct.

750 Spiders do not mentioned at Sartorelli designs book I also have.

Ohh... I see, you mean Scarabeo, Busso's mid engine dream.

It is long story, different topic. I think I have all information about mid engine Alfa Romeo cars. The story began in 1957, after Busso visited F1. All info can be found in his book and in Ruoteclassiche

The engine of the 750 Comp. Was a copy of the 4 cyl 1500 and 1900 that was constructed back in the 30ties.
The reason that it didn’t go into production. Was the loser chassis, that wasn’t stiff enough.
The IRI had nothing to do with it.

The pre. Tipo 33 spider in the picture in post 16.
