Aw shucks Bruce -
As I recall my Jr. Z placed fourth in a four car class, and there were a couple of nicer Montreals and Jr. Z's that didn't even get judged! In that crowd, I was thinking I was probably going to get placed even lower.
Putting it all in perspective, though is that my car, while not a "daily" driver, is a DRIVER, and at the hands of Andy Menapace did an admirable job of keeping up with my Quadra-Ford-Lio pickup on the Rainier/St. Helens tour down to Portland.
I was most impressed with Tom Sahines' car that was driven on the pre-convention tour, and still was in beautiful condition for the Field Meet.
I guess it all goes to show that those of us crazy enough to own these cars are also proud enough of them to show them, regardless of mileage or condition. And they deserve that...

junior Z from Australia

Here are some pics 0f 0086 from Australia in a past life on the track and now in its final phase of restoration.

It is also RHD with a 2litre, 4.3 LSD and 2 litre front suspension.

Amen to that - and drive them. I was playing too much with the Porsches lately (One made it into the Quail this year) and the Lancia (Finally sold at RM), so the Junior Z did not get any exercise lately. That will all change tomorrow when the 911 goes back into storage and out comes the Z for extensive play.

The Junior Z is still the most reliable car in the household - Not any major issue in the last 4 years I had it.

Bruce, sorry, my brain forgot things - Good to see more of these cars here, especially the Zagato Blue ones in 1600 form - Of course the best of them all

Next week we have our annual meeting at Zandvoort and this year Zagato is in the spot-light. I hope we seen many more JZ's than the 10 we had last year.

5 Yellow ones, and they were all different.

they are 15x7 steel wheels I had made with approx 35 mm offset. Was running on some 195 slick tyres. Lots of grip and 3 wheeling.

Which colour?

Hello members,

Taken at the Spettacolo Sportivo on Sunday August the 30th of 2009. We had 20 Junior Zagato's in total. Thank you to everybody who participated!
I did a little photoshopping to get rid of the ugly buildings on the left in the picture.

Ciao, Olaf

Hello Don515jz and Juniorz,

Here are your cars. ZZ_jr, sorry, realised that I didn't photograph your car which was in the exhibit together with the other Zagato types.
If ypu want to see more pictures, have a look at SCARB

Hello Olaf,
Thanks for sharing the photos of the event at Zandvoort. You mentioned that Zagato was a theme this year (celebrating 90 years i suppose).
Were there any other Zagato models present at the event?
Regards
