Junior 1300 Zagato
Hi
last week i had the opportunity to buy an Alfa 1300 Junior Z. The car is in a good shape and nearly original. I own some other 105-Alfas but i was very impressed about the road handling. I like the Zagato very much.
Unfortunately there are two (main-) parts missing. First the front bumper and second the armrest (pannello laterale anteriore) in front on the left side. Does somebody have a source where i can get this parts?
I live in Zürich (Switzerland) but have also a shipping address in Florida, where my brother lives.
Attached i have some photos of my Alfa. The color is giallo Zagato!
Greetings from Switzerland
Andy

Welcome to the club. Yes, they are addictive ...
I think you might have a hard time finding the parts. For sure, the front bumper will be a challenge. I am not aware that they are reproduced and finding one "laying around" might take a while.
I am unsure on the armrests. Does anybody know if they have been shart with the Bertone models? At least they are similar looking and you might fake it with one.

Hi Mike
i hope to find one 'laying around'. Maybe i can exchange with some rare roundtail or montreal parts!
It would be great if somebody could post a picture of the door panel with the armrest (left side) of a 1300 Junior Zagato. I don't know how they look like!

I believe the armrest is the same as a Spider. As for the bumper I also need one, having inspected one very closely it could be remade, is there any interest?

The armrests on the early Jr. Z (1300) is from 1st series Giulia super (up to 1968), and the ones for the later 1300 (and 1600Z IIRC) are from 2000GTV or Berlina. Spiders did get similar kind of armrests, but it did not happen till 1979 or 1980.

Here you have one from a 1600 though. Not sure if it is the side you are looking for but the other side would simply be a mirror.
Regarding the reproduction, you might want to check with the usual suspects if they are willing to do a run. There should be some interest out there but it will not be cheap. The first one is the most expensive one :-)
Check with re-originals and rareparts.nl (Rareparts might have one laying arond somewhere ...).

Uh, checking with the style auto pics, the pic above does not do you any good. The arm rest indeed is different for 1300 and 1600 cars

Yeah, but it depends on the VIN on andyro's car. My mom's 1300 (very late one, #982 or something like that) has some bits that are same as the ones from 1600Z, including the armrests.

Andy, why don`t you give a try at www.alfa-oldtimer.ch , they seem to have a lot of spare parts, even for Junior Zagato.
Takis.

Then your armrests should be the ones from early Giulia super (1965-68).
Enjoy your vacation,
