This is the car now stated to be 06936 and previously claiming to be 02028.
It will be very interesting to find out more as to how the confusion came about. The bulkhead on Giuliettas is clearly stamped so it is difficult to understand how the chassis number couldn't have been clarified some time ago when the car was restored in the 1980s and when did the confusion start?

Thanks for posting the chassis number Alex. Any ideas how the mix up in identities came about? Did the car have any documents or stampings that might have suggested it was 02028?

When imported from Sweden by Mr Belt i must have had documents stating 2028 which is also in the car but not in the right place and without the AR1493 E.
We are now trying to find out if the Swedish owner new ? Zagato when restoring the car?

It appears the car I inquired about 6 posts ago that is on Anamera right now is this car. How does that affect the sale?

The red car in Holland? I don't think Anamera matters at all. I would say in today's world, IF the car has proper documents, it's worth about $250,000

SVZ in India
Hi All,
Excuse me for interrupting the current discussion. Is the owner of the SVZ in India on this thread? I was e-mailing back and forth with him about a year ago, and now have lost his e-mail address. We were discussing parts for his car, so I'd like to make contact again.

I think it is going to take more than these pictures to say anything about this car. Do you have a VIN number, pictures of suspension/drivetrain set-up?
Neat car in any case.

Yes. I agree.
But itīs only the pictures i have at moment...
I ask for more pictures, and if itīs possible, the Bertone number and VIN# of this Giulietta Sprint...
I think itīs the original car prepared by CONRERO for the portuguese pilot " MANÉ Nogueira Pinto ( End of th ī50īs and early 60 in Portuguese car competition )
Cheers!

Svz?!?!?!?!
No offense guys, but aren't those just Fiat 850 Spider head lamp buckets shoved into a stock Sprint with crudely flaired fenders. There were a couple of SS floating around the US, with similar mods, all claiming to be Conrero.
Just my semi educated opinion!!

Did Conrero keep records, how does an owner prove authenticity?

Conrero
There was a book out about Conrero, about 15 years ago. I think that it was called "il Mago" or something like that. It means Magician, if I recall. I have a copy around somewhere. I don't think there was a lot in it, as far as records. One of the fake Conrero SS's used old VW Hella buckets, and the other used Duetto lamps and bubbles. I don't think that there was ever proof of a Conrero connection in either case. Just owner hype, trying to sell them as something exotic.
