Thanks

Thankyou to everyone who helped me out. There is a lot of info and all of it has been a help. We are to the point of reassembling a complete restoration of a very original car.
If anyone knows the contact info for the above mentioned Romeo Racing in Milan, it would be appreciated. If you want my email sebertmotors@nexicom.net

Jim

From what I can tell, these seats were made by a man at Zagato, I believe his name was Mantegna or something similar. I read this in an article about SZ's at some point. They were made to be extremely lightweight. I was researching this for my Abarth Record Monza which had similar seats done by Zagato, probably the same man. I don't know whether they were originally leather or vinyl, but the Abarth's were vinyl.
Here is a picture of my Abarth replica's, which don't have the button's in the seat like the Alfa's.

Hello Jim, if it is indeed the "Bob Alexander" car, that would make it TZ # 097... the Harry Theodoracopulos car... later owned by Bob Alexander...

Am I correct?

I have only found 1 picture of it, taking during the 1965 Bahama Speed Weeks .

There is a gap in the history between December 1965 when it was presumably last raced by Theodoracopulos and 1984 when it was owned in disassembled state by Bob Alexander. After 1984 my trail ends.

Would love to hear if you were able to fill the blanks in the history and / or photographs of it.

This is what I currently have on it:
Alfa Romeo TZ # 097
