Thumbs up blacksmiths had their day...

I am in the process of rebuilding a 1947 6c 2500 ss. although a lot has been hacked up my biggest challenge is the front main cap/oil pump housing. The drive gear is gone and the housing, inlet and outlet has been brazed up solid. any chance someone out there has a block so far gone as to be willing to part with a main cap so i can align bore onto this engine? Or does someone know how to find the original blueprints so i can fab a new one. I'm new to the site but sure enjoy reading the dialogs.

You may want to contact Fabio Calligaris via "Contatti" of the 6c 2500 register (and maybe even become a member there). Fabio speaks English, is very knowledgable and may be able to help. He also runs an excellent restoration shop.
