location of chassis 915.786

I am trying to locate 915.786 a 1949 Pinin Farina Cabriolet 6c2500. Last known owner was Melvin Springer in Hot Springs Arkansas (Deceased) His executors say he sold it approximately 20 years ago and they have no record of the transaction. Can anyone help me. Any leadsd would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked with the 6C 2500 register in Italy?
