Argentine 6C2500 barchetta on eBay

FYI: An Italian is offering this Argentine-bodied 6C2500 "barchetta" on eBay until March 6th, 2008. Chassis 913346. "The body style (vignale) was made from Carroceria Franconi , Buenos Aires , Argentina". (There's a discussion of a similar Vignale car somewhere else on the BB). I have no connection with this car, its sale, etc.

eBay Motors: Alfa Romeo : Spider (item 360023828373 end time Mar-06-08 00:15:22 PST)

There is another thread on this car. It is nothing more than a modern creation based on 6c2500 components. It is similar looking to the Tipo 412 Vignale that ran in the 1951 Mille Miglia.

I was afraid of that but couldn't find such a thread. Perhaps the moderator will delete this entire thread to reduce repetition?

I think 'nothing more than a modern creation' is a bit harsh. It is still a spectacular piece of engineering
