Link to picture of 8c2900 Zagato (car exists, but no longer with this body. It was re-bodied "in period" ) :

Check out this page: Storia delle Carrozzerie - Archivio: Le carrozzerie principali Scroll down about half way to where it shows a list of the 1930 Zagato cars and drawings of 3 of them. The 2900 is the middle drawing in that section. The drawing has the correct shape, but the Zagato body was always black; never red. The list says the car was built in 1937, and I believe 1936 is correct. Click on where it says 8c2900B Zagato in red, and it will bring up another picture of the car.

Dretceterini,
In honor of your uncle Count Johnny Lurani, another shot of the Le Mans Coupe in the Science Museum.
Ciao, Olaf

The blue Stabilimenti Farina Cabriolet is chassis 412028. It has been in the famous Harrah collection (still is?) and used to be red. According to Simon Moore, this chassis might have had a different body altogether before the Farina cabriolet.
Ciao, Olaf

Thanks. Technically, Lurani was a cousin, but we called him uncle because he was much older. I wish he had left the LeMans coupe to me.
I understand when he sold it, circa 1970, it was for less than $10,000!!
