Unidentified Alfa ... please help !

Hi Everybody,

I try to identify the Alfa on the attached photo. The car was part of the famous "Sleeping Beauties" collection of a frenchman. The photo was taken in 1983 and in the car magazine it was subscribed with "special bodied Alfa".

Does anybody know anything about this car ? Any Information is really appreciated (type, year, fate of this specimen, ...).

Thanks a lot !
Kay

Impossible to tell the chassis number or place a realistic opinion on what model without other photos. I havn't seen a list of the s?ns of the cars from that collection, although I'm sure someone knows. Looks like a pre-war or early post-war 6c2500 to me. It could also be a 6c2300.

The style says early post-war to me.

Kay, according to Anselmi's book (pag. 188) this must be the 6C 2500 Super Sport Carrozzeria Worblaufen (Switzerland) from 1951...

Cheers,

Luc
