8C 2300 mystery cars

It is almost 10 years now since Simon Moore published his wonderful 8C 2300 book. I am wondering if progress has been made on the remaining unidentified cars.

To get the ball rolling, I have a small correction about brazilian Manuel de Teffé's Monza ("U21" in the book). It seems he did not get it before 1935 and the photos captioned as 1933 in the book are in fact from the 1936 Gavea GP.

Here is a link to a very nice page showing de Teffé was still racing his 6C 1750 by 1933 :

Luik Racing - Galeria de Imagens

So, knowing de Teffé did not get his Monza before 1935, perhaps will it be possible to find out from whom he bought it ?

As there are no active Alfa pre-war registers, I suggest that you contact Simon directly for what updates he has. I am sure he will eventually come out with an updated 8c2300 book, as he did with the 8c2900 book. I think he will come out with the pre-war Alfa GP book he has been working on for years first though..
