6C 2500 toolkit

Hello
I have an old Alfa Romeo toolkit, apparently it is from a 6C 2500, but I can't be sure. Can anyone identify it?
Thanks, Felix

Hi, Felix -- welcome to AlfaBB!

I can't identify your tool kit because I'm not an expert for these cars.

If you don't get any definitive answers here, try contacting Fabio Calligaris via the 6c2500 register and/or the savants at the 1900 register.

Here's what's in the 6c2500 parts catalog Pub. 463 (from 1946) about the tool kit:

Yes, but only for the "Coloniale" model.
The columns on the right side of the table show which tools went with what model.
Below is an enlargement of the heading.

You're welcome! If you get confirmation what car the toolkit belongs to, please let us know.

Here's a tool kit I found last week in a box of 6C2300/2500 stuff I bought some time ago. I never thought to compare to the spare parts catalogue - great idea!

The 3 shiny black things (left and top left) aren't in the parts illustration. Any ideas?

loosemoose: The "Coloniale" was meant for export to the former Italian colonies of Libya and Ethiopia. The scarcity of auto workshops and the quality of the roads there in the forties are evident from the extensive toolkit.

Buy a new car today and you're lucky to get a spare tire, a jack and a cheap-a** flathead screwdriver.
