Alfa car rental ?

Hi

I'll be in Athens on the 12th of August 2008, { probably no native will be their due to vacations etc] and I would like to rent a Alfa Romeo.

I am planning to take a road trip up to Mt. Parnassos

I would like to rent a ALFA 159 or a MiTo , while in town.

Any suggestions on whom to call ??

Also, are their any club activities during my stay Aug 11-16th and Aug 22nd to 24th. The rest of the time I will be on Paros.

I dont think you will find rental Alfas here, plenty of Fiats though. Same thing nowadays
Some web addresses: avis.gr, hertz.gr, budget.gr, antenarac.gr. The last one belongs to a group selling alfas (in addition to vws and audis).

Enjoy your stay and keep some water tanks with you at all times to help us put out forest fires. And if you find yourself in the vicinity of one, DONT DONT repeat DO NOT listen to the guys in uniform.

I'll be happy with renting a FIAT if that's the case. I drove a UNO in Paros and had a wonderful time.
A large car like a 159 would be frightening on the small narrow roads of any of the Greek islands, especially in August.
Hope the rain gods, come early and keep the forest fires at bay.
I hear Rhodes is having a time of it.

There might be a chance that you can find a 159 in one of the big car hire companies. But as for the MiTo..nope.. no way.. It was only officially launched in July in Greece..
As for the club, people are always welcomed at the club offices. Head over at alfaclub.gr and see the location.
