New Alfa Owner Riverside,CA

A dear friend of mine passed away just over a year ago and I am now the proud owner of the 1978 Spider that I used to be a passenger in. Needless to say that the car holds a lot of sentimental value. It has 39,000 original miles and is in good shape with all receipts, original owners manual and an Alfa Romeo tool set. There are some things that need to be fixed before I can register it in California. The catalytic converter and air pump wereremoved at some point and the pump is in the trunk. Probably not the place for it to be.

Driving it takes me back to my flying days. Such a pleasure.

Well, at least you've got the pump available to hook back up. Cat converter isn't too expensive to get replaced.

Find a good Alfa guy who knows the SPICA system and you should be able to get it to pass smog. Good luck.
