Vent window knob source
My vent window knobs are starting to peal off the chrome coating. I checked with Centerline and Vicks n others but no one seems to have these. Anybody know of a source?

Yup, find an old Alfasud ti; they're identical and usually in better nick as they're newer.

I doubt you can find them new, other than from ReOriginals or AFRA maybe, but Alfa Parts Exchange probably has some. You don't say what series car; early ones are same as Giulia Super, late ones are same as Berlina.

It's hit and miss, but the breakers at APE sometimes have a few in decent shape. You can always call and ask.

Forgive my ignorance but who are APE breakers?

Cripes, when you said 'vent windows', I thought you were talking about the rear venting windows on a GT... Just ignore me eh? I thought I was in the GT section...

There are a couple of different styles, based on year. Can you post a picture of what you have, it would help.

Yep, Berlinas use it too (maybe late Giulia sedans too), though there aren't many Berlinas left. Did you try APE? 209 833-8330.

Andrew is correct in his assumption. That is the same knob in my '72 Super.
