Ive gone back and forth over whether to install a retro radio or not...I coevered up my slot with veneer, figuring I wouldnt be able to hear the friggin thing anyway while motoring...but i do like them and the thought of listening to AM Italian radio while cruising through Toscana...maybe I'll give it a rethink

I've got the same reservations about cutting a hole in my new veneer for a radio, so I am thinking of some sort of mp3 player solution. I think it will involve a small amp, a line adapter(to boost the signal from the mp3 player) and some sort of connector(maybe hidden in the ashtray). The kicker is that I really would like to listen to sports on AM radio, but I can't find an mp3 player that has AM built in!
