Transmission mounting bracket

Anyone have a good understanding of the various transmission mount brackets used on 105/115 GTV's? The bracket that came with my my '66 GTV has "splayed" mounting holes. That is, the rear holes are narrower than the front. The chassis is designed for a mount with equi-distant front and rear holes.
