What plugs for a 1973 2000?????

Hi all,

Im new to the BB and appreciate all your help!!! I have recently bought a 73' 105 and it doesnt seem to have the right spark plugs in it. Does anybody know which plugs are the best to use? If it makes any difference, im in Australia and its an AUS delivered 105.

Thanks again for your combined wisdom!

Cheers,
AusGTV2000

Most parts joints will have a catalog that'll tell you what to use - or google NGK or Bosch

NGKb6es I think is OK for a std motor - maybe 7's if higher compression - possibly can also use bp6es (which has a longer electrode) but not if you have big valves.

6's are hotter. NGK recommends BP7ES plugs for stock motors in normal use. Here's their website: NGK.com - Application Search Results

NGK B7ES is what I use in a 2L with big valves. Jason is right; be careful using projected tip plugs (BP7ES) if your cylinder head is modified.
