GT Junior 1300 Won't Start

I have a 69 GT Junior 1300 that won't start.

When I last parked it in December it would turn over and start fairly easily. I only had to use the choke a bit. Last time (in January) that I tried to start it, the motor was turning over but I think I flooded it. I stopped and let it sit for a couple of weeks. Went back and tried to start it - nothing. No turning over, no sound, no nothing.

I removed the battery for a while and charged it. Re-installed the battery and have power but the same results when trying to turn it over. Nothing happens. No click no nothing.

Any ideas what I might try next?

If you are sure you have power and you hear no click-nothing, it may be your switch going bad. First verify you have power coming into the switch. If so, you can try and hotwire her, so that you get power straight to the starter solenoid. I don't have a GTJ1300 wiring diagram, so I can not tell you which colors of wire to connect, but basically you connect the hot wire to the wire going to the starter...and see if she turns over then. If not, I would suspect your starter solenoid. Others may have better suggestions for trouble shooting this
