Bill, I contacted them and they replied that they are no longer doing them. I've been mulling over the idea of doing these myself by using the products offered by Alumilite....

Alumilite - How To's

....however if we can get the lens made using a thermoplastic instead of a resin, I believe that this would be much a better way to go (as well as being less time consuming in the end). We could buy just the lens and use Osso's technique to restore our originals.

Sperimentazioni e Guaranizioni

*BUMP*

I've been checking on the gasket issue and today I made some experiments with EPDM white rubber profile that I was able to source out. It seals good and looks right. I want to check out a silicone rubber cord which should be even better as EPDM extruded rubber is a somewhat porous material.

Here is the result so far:

We're getting closer to a very good finished product.
Screws are also on the way.

OK, the lenses are finally complete with the correct rectangular profile white gasket. It is a very resilliant silicone rubber, and all lenses will be sold with the gaskets installed.

'69 amber side marker lights anyone?

Bump.

Does anyone have a current source for these?

I can almost see the finish line on my project, and wondering about replacing my faded amber side marker lights.

I've been looking for new repro side lens for more than 2 years to no avail. I plan on making resin ones (using Allumilite resin) next year should none become available by then.

Rear ones are more readily available used (I have a spare set I picked up last year). The front ones fade badly for some strange reason. In any event, once a mold is made the lens can be made in any color quite easily.....it's not at the top of my to do list at the moment.
