help needed

The rear bumper has 4 attachment points: two at the rear of the car, and one on each side of the car. In the car I am restoring the latter two attachment points are missing.

Can someone post the coordinates of these points (holes) ? For instance by measuring the distance fo the wheel well and the distance to the lower part of the body. Is it the same on both sides of the car?

Just in case: my car is a 1971 gtv 2000

Thanks

rafael:

I would strongly discourage you from drilling holes in you body based on dimensions submitted over the Internet. Another '71 GTV owner, whose car was rear-ended and repaired might end up sending you dimensions that bear no relation to your body & bumper.

A much better solution would be to mount your bumper, and mark where the front mounting holes should go. Of course, make sure your bumper is straight first, make sure both holes are an equal distance behind their respective wheelarches, .... the old, "measure it twice, drill it once".
