Surprise ,surprise ...the inner triangular box section (between back seat -trunk plate to where the bottom sheet attaches onto the other-the inner trunk step)
It's not painted!! No rustproofing!!!!!!!!
By the way the thing that looks like rust IT AIN"T, it's some kind of dirt , looks like i'm one of the lucky ones...Totally sealed!!
Daron should i paint something onto this?

Just get a spray can of cavity wax. Even in the Greek heat it should stay coated to the walls. Do this once every year or so and it will never rust. Cavity wax keeps oxygen off the metal. With out oxygen rust can not start.

Newbie way into deep waters...
Progress:
Straightened the cuts , Big problem of course is the 2 pieces of metal missing from the absorber turrets cause that's where the absorber actually bolts onto, the top piece of metal doesn't take any loads at all.
Best deal would be to cut a circular same size piece slide it underneath weld it and fill the upper surface with spot welds, grind it down , drill it and voila... BUT the piece can't be inserted into the turret , SO it will be cut in two pieces cause that's the only way you can get it in there...
P.S. I thought of changine the places to where the absorber cap bolts in order not to put load on a already problem area BUT it will be difficult to bolt the absorber cap since one of the bolts would be very unaccessible.

More progress on this:
I finally got the round pieces , i think of removing the spring and weld on both sides of the piece ,after this the turret would be twice as strong (3mm+2.5mm) i can run whatever shock absorber i choose , i think racers should do this mode anyway.

Welding Hour
I welded the top of the semi-circular pieces and removed the spring as i'm gonna weld both sides. A bit hard was welding the piece close to the backseat. Tomorrow i'd be grinding the top and weld the underside ...or NOT??
Got some Teroson Cavity Wax cans as Akitaman suggested which i'm gonna use on this particular project.
P.S. Chest pains from the fumes.

Slave for a weekend. THANKS Alfa!
I spent the whole weekend working on this, the turret is so strong you can lift the car from this point. I got some zinc coating on the turret inside -out and around the big hole i created on the GTV...
The lower part of the turret (bottom circular piece-spring housing) was hit by the absorber in one point , so i straightened it out.
The top piece is spot welded on the right wheel arc and the part that joins the backseat is slid under 3 pieces(?) of sheet metal and spot welded
I can't do that and i can't just weld it onto the backseat as if god forbid i run into this problem later cutting the piece near the backseat is almost impossible with an angled grinder. So spot welds on the backseat also.
P.S. The place where the turrets are situated is a tough place to work.
Most of the job is done from inside the car from the backseat. There's little space to move around and place the tools correctly where you want them.

The fumes are deadly watch out.

You can have a concealed weapon in Greece!?
Here they'll lock you up just for having it in the glovebox(or under a seat, in someones pants, in a bag of pot [definite lockup], if they can't see it, it's to the clink)!

No it's illegal, but i can by law.
I know there are different state laws regarding firearms in the US , i remember a sign in Virginia saying : "illegal gun? - EXILE" , but i think you can have a weapon there , so why in cali they don't allow it in the glovebox if it's registered?

Project Halted, can't drill the wheel arc side hole!!
-Drill won't fit from above except an angled one
-Been drilling it from underneath for 4 hours...broke a couple of drill pieces inside LOL
-Put the spring on and drove it to an oxy-acetylin guy to burn a hole...NO CIGAR -HE MELTED THE TORCH TIP
-So on wednesday i'll be taking the little beast to a guy who has a PLASMA setup and burn a whole to the sucker...
P.S. The turret's top is now close to 1 CM fat hahaha -screw bilsteins screw everything. NO WORRIES AFTER THIS.

always interesting how our projects take twists. Sounds like you will have it good and solid when done. Mine never end the way I think they will when I start. Usually this is a good thing

Drawbacks, errors, are part of the learning process i guess. I know on winter when i'll start the left turret i won't repeat a couple of small screw-ups.

Made the hole, got to:
1>weld-fill the wrong one,
2>grind it down a bit
3>Paint everything AGAIN
4>Bolt the shock absorber
5> At last have some freaking fun with the car...
