The main question will be to determine whether the Am in question is a "real Am".

I thought there were only 12 real GTAMs built. I'd say finding one is more than hard, and when you do, it will cost an arm and a leg. Now if I were to find one, would I want it? Yes, without a doubt.

GTAm prices

There was one for sale about a year ago in the states (New Hampshire) and the asking price was $92,500. It was a documented 1970 Autodelta car with all of the correct bits and pieces. It had the 2 liter opposed to 1750. It looked pretty nice from the pics. It was sold by Euroclassics, but last time I checked, the car wasn't on their "cars sold" list.

Somewhere on the bb there is a thread for this and another French GTAm that was sold at 125000 euros. Marcel Roks sold one recently for similar.
There were more than 12 made, maybe more like 20. There are about 18 listed in Alleggerita, half listing current ownership, a couple crashed/written off. This list does not include at least 2 known original cars that are not in this book.
ALL GTAms had 2 liter (84.5 x 88.5) capacity engines, made from monosleeved 1750 blocks.
VS.
