Stripes For You?

So, Mubezzi, what's it going to be - stripes or no stripes? Painted on or not? Decisions, decisions, huh?

What other options are you going with?

I myself am going "balls out" and going for painted on stripes. No regrets.

I am going with no stripes. The chassis will have a black sealer under the color coat and will be sanded to a 'wet' look. With all the trim finished to a nice luster, I think this will be sufficient to set-it-off. I am looking for a set of borranis but all I see are the records, which come in the 4x108 bolt pattern but with a 30mm offset (if the information source is correct). I may have to purchase a set of Dayton reproductions to meet the 22-24mm offset requirement (still researching).

Borrani RW 4039

Perfetto!
Actually, I haven't seen a GTV with Borrani's before. I like what I see. I really like the RW 4039 Borrani wheels but I see they are about $8900 w/ spinners (http://www.carmansgarage.com/product/BRW4039) and these are spline drive. Which Borrani wheel are on this GTV?

Wow! Tom (the motor guru) picked up the car yesterday and has already pulled the motor. I'll let Baka4alfa tell you what he is doing for proformance.

Thanks for looking!

Wow, did my tranny have some build-up on it. It looks much cleaner now. And man, that Tom works fast! I also found out that my car has a LSD. Yes!

The plans, thus far, are to rebuild clutch, LSD, and modify the engine slightly for a street performance set-up. Tom will be removing the current cams and will evaluate replacement cams from there. Other than cams, most of the effort will be in porting and improving the flow in the engine. Also, Wes Ingram will be modifying the SPICA to match the engine mods.

Any recommendations for a reliable street performer that will be used occasionally for track days is appreciated.

I will be doing suspension and brake upgrades myself when the car comes back to Ohio.
