Polish restoration - any advice?

Hi All,

First time poster here. I'm considering having my 105 restored in Poland by a company called RS-CC (www.rs-cc.com). Would anyone have heard of these guys or better yet be able to advise me on anythig I should knw about them prior to parting with my hard earned cash?

All replies much appreciated.
Thanks
B

I'm located in Ireland. I'm guessing you know an outfit stateside that can do the same type of work?

Labour costs are pretty competitive in Poland relative to what I'd pay an Irish specialist for the work - it's just that I know absolutely nothing about them as a company.

Thanks
B

At least 2 BB members have sent their cars to the same outfit. In fact, I see pictures of Roland's blue Spider on the rs-cc website. Search for "Poland" and you will see several threads on the subject.

Last time I traded emails with Roland, he was having some problems with this company. I don't mean to be an alarmist and I am not saying to stay away. Contacting Roland and getting his spin on things should help.

This is second hand information till I get full details from RS-CC, but a decent Irish mechanic will charge €50+ at least while I understand it'll be circa half this amount from RS-CC. I am going to have a detailed conversation with them over the next few days and I'll post what I find out on cost per hour.

Cheers

Being one who does restoration work, I too want to see this unfold. It never was told what the polish outfit charges.
