That is my car. When I was researching paint colors, Alfa had three different names for the same color blue.

I've got a reprint of a road test from November 1972 in 'Modern Motor' magazine on the 2000GTV. It lists the available factory colours as follows:
(I have added the AR numbers where I can find them)

White AR202
Light Moss Green
Quarry Beige
Pine Green AR216
Dutch Blue AR210
Le Mans Blue AR348
Alfa Red AR501
Maroon AR213
Yellow Piper AR116
Metallic Light Grey AR727
Metallic Light Beige
Metallic Olive Green AR225
Metallic Blue Perewinkle AR349

Yes!....I finally see what my GTV should (and maybe will still) look like with fresh paint! As I continue to work on the car.... this colour is starting to appeal to me. Thanks for that!

tyre size

The wheels are two piece simmonds 15's. The tyres are 205/60/15. I got the car with that setup on it and found that when cornering hard and hitting bumps the tires would hit the lip on the guards quite eaisly. I rolled the lip at the top of the arch and this cured the problem. They gave great grip though.
