Ok..... OK I agree But it's not "Rosso Amaranto".
All kidding aside. Both very nice examples. You should be very proud of
such rare auto's.......

I did not intend to mislead anyone...The car was repainted in 1999 and the interior has new seat covers, but the car only has approximately 41,000 original miles.

My '74 2000GTV
Just bought this car two weeks ago. I'm new to the forum, although this is my second Alfa. The first one was an '85 Giulietta Executive. Still can't believe I found this one in such a decent condition. It's been a three-year search for the right price and condition!

Greetings: I had a 1965 Gulia Sprint GT in the late '60s. The top pic is from February 1970. I can vouch for the original nature of the paint, but the negative is 38 years old....

after over a decade of off-and-on work, Sophia is ready to be unveiled.
she's not 100% ready for prime time, but close enough to show off.
73 GTV (not really a 105, but who's counting?)
every single part has been rebuilt, de-rusted & repainted, or replaced.
built up as a dual purpose street/autocross car.
now i need to find a nice venue to take some killer photos . . .

Wow, thats a sweet looking Alfa! Thats exactly the direction I'm trying very hard not to take mine in. Very nice work. Elegant but aggressive at the same time.

yeah, i know. i should have just bought a '69 to begin with . . . it was a dilemma when i bought it. i wanted the looks of the 1750, but the mechanicals of the 2000. you missed the side markers and euro taillights
luckily the dash wasn't in the best of shape, so i didn't feel too guilty about cutting a hole in the middle to fit the console. the 1750 center console duplicated gauges that were already in the 2000 instrument panel, so i installed different aftermarket gauges in the pod. i considered just finding a used 1750 dash and change it all out, but they are very hard to find, and lack the ball vents at the ends. i need all the ventilation i can get here in Southern California.
i've started a thread on the restoration. a series of updates is pending :

Hi Richard, These wheels are 6,5 " with 195/65 x 14 Tyres. No sunroof.!!
The car is from Italy, I bought it in 1995. No rust, no welding no bondo, all parts are straight and fits like new. I have rebuilt the 2 liter engine myself. With lowered Eibach springs Red Koni shocks. Montreal Bushings in the rear axle. Oilsump protection.

Nico..... What a beautiful car. The Dark Blue looks excellant on a car that is as straight as yours.
Bet you only drive on nice days!
