Shankle? Ward & Deane?

Hi, I'm a n00b.

In many posts, I see references to Shankle and Ward & Deane components - mostly suspesion bits. I *don*t find them in the catalogs and web sources I've found. People speak highly of them. Are they available? Where? Thanx.

Hi Dan,

John Shankle was one of the major Alfa parts and high performance businesses. I have a 1978 catalog, but I think he morphed into Honda items (as Lightspeed) before closing completely. Ward & Dean was a smaller business, but no less respected. Alan Ward is still around, and apparently is still making some parts.
