Ok, I know these are the hot set-up for track cars, and were on factory prepped race cars - but would someone so kindly explain to me what advantage this unit offers over the stock set up? THX
Simply a lower roll centre and thus more grip. The standard system locates the roll centre on top of the diff, and thus traction is poor in comparison ... the limited slip diff in the 2000 GTV helped resolve this.
In the end the lower the roll centre the better for keeping the inside wheel on the ground.
